The forecast was for thundershowers this morning and it did since about 2 am. the rain easily filled a 5 gallon pail as run off from the roof. We sure needed the rain, the grass was looking kind of brown almost dead not that I look forward to having to cut it again anytime soon.
Don't know if it will affect the lake as it was down too; more of the rocks were showing than usual making launch and landing a little more difficult.
Landed 1 bow about 2 lbs on a cheater line 30ft down over 100fow.
Did not mark many fish last night but the night before I was marking fish out deep 130fow they were between 72 and 85fow, with probably bows running 25-37fow. This was out of Owen Sound before Kemble Mountain.
I'll check out this spot again tonight (close to home)
Try another place further North tomorrow (in the morning)see if the fish are more cooperative.
