Awesome vid guys looks like you had a great time. on my way up to lake temagami march 9th for a week been fishing temagami for 25years spring summer hard water its always been a great lake to fish especially if you put your time in. the surrounding lakes just as awesome. some special spec, wallet, pike lakes with a 5-15 min sled ride through the bush.
i know it was your first time there I'm sure you guys are only going to get better glad to see a younger group out there and keeping temagami going.
walleye are also great do well through the ice but spring and summer produce huge walleye. Back lakes produce nice eaters for a quick pan fry through the ice.

Nice fish Thesmasher!!
That is some great info, too. Thanks for your help! Sounds like we will have to send you a message next time we're headed up...there's a thing or two to learn from an experienced vet like yourself!

what area on the lake were guys fishing ?
north south ?
i watched you fishing and catching ling that was after the walleye bite they move in we leave lol.
small window for the eyes 1hr tops on hard water
we always use meat on our hooks when jigging we don't on still lines high in the water column when fishing for lakers. still lines in the water column do really well as long as your using the hot bait of the weekend.
speckles are on most of the time shallow as usual and some big specs come out of the hard water I've seen 6 plus lbs ..
