Nice set up on that kayak. You gotta be pretty nimble to operate all that gear I imagine.
Do you not bleed out the salmon while you drag him on that rope? I know many outfitters that do that. They cut under the gills to allow the blood to drain. Supposed to make them taste better...??

Again congrats.
I put them on a stringer then attach them to my anchor trolly. They swim under my kayak for the remainder of the time I'm out there. I keep em alive. Once I get back to shore they are pretty much at full life again. That's when I bleed em. I try to keep em alive and fresh until the very last moment

Again congrats.
You have to have a system down. If the rigger rod fires I have to get that dipsy rod out and away before I can even start the fight. They will turn you around and cross your lines if you don't. It's been quite the learning curve over the years.
