Beautiful pup. I would never have guessed German Shepherd, never seen a white one. I have never heard of anyone hunting with one. Looks like they work well for hunting. Make sure you keep us posted on his development. I do like seeing dog pictures.

Beautiful pup, judging by the size of the mitts on him he is going to be a big boy.

thanks, he is kind of unique..as only 1 percent of the genes allow the white color. hunting is the easy one....as soon as you use the right approach that they start to associate the sound of the shot with the smell of blood you got an excellent hunting dog.

Curious. Would you describe their style of hunt as pointer, flusher, or retriever?

With birds he flushes them, retrieves ,not afraid of cold water....does not scan the ground with his nose like other dogs...performs really well. This post has been edited by rx7robotics on Mar 13, 2020 - 09:35 pm

Often thought a good herding dog would work great for game farm pheasants.

He works great for everything because he is looking for blood smell after the shot...no matter what kind of animal/bird. It is their pleasing instinct towards the owner and they love to work.
