yup. I've been designated as an unessential health service provider and asked to stand down. Making the best of it as the woodcock are migrating back so giving the dogs a good work out. [url=https://flic.kr/p/2iFG6Qb]

I went out and tapped 25 maple trees. Now I have a few pails of sap to boil. Also the Wife, the dog and I also looked for sheds at the same time. No sheds but great to get out into the woods just the same.

We have already processed about 120 gallons of sap. We are now going through the concentrate to get to syrup. Boil, boil, boil, boil.. next year I need a real boiler..

We have taken off 114 litres of syrup here in simcoe county, I'm figuring the season is coming to an end shortly. Your right Mjewell, it takes a lot of beer to boil it all down.

I will be going out Wednesday to put my turkey blind up, put a couple cell cameras up, look for sheds and take the chain saw along to cut up any trees that fell into the fields over the winter.
