if you did that yourself amazing, love it! But the finished product seems to be missing, happens at our house as well, we call it sniff and freeze.

I do all the baking in the house and most of the cooking. Wife likes it that way.

Thanks. Chevy now you are talking (butter tarts). I have made several batches since I retired in January. You are taking on a tough job there. Mixing the ingredients no hard but it is a lot of work getting the pastry in the pans. Make sure you let us know how they turn out. Whatever you do don't mix colored pans. I use silver as the end result is nice brown. I didn't realize that there was a difference. I found out the hard way been using the silver then had some extra dough so used the dark pans. They were pretty much burnt.
