Antlerless deer draw

I tried to apply for the draw but it's saying I need a deer licence first. I thought you could get your licence after the draw results or am I wrong?

i believe your wrong, get your licence and then apply for the area you wish.

Maybe it's the controlled hunt you don't need your licence first?

You can apply for a controlled deer hunt without buying a license. You have till after you have found out if you are in the hunt or not before you have to buy the license.
If you are applying for a regular deer hunt or an archery deer hunt, you have to buy the license first
