I just got my new fish finder mounted on my new kayak!

Took a while to get all the right parts in and had to diy some stuff but i think it will work great.

Cant wait to test it out!

and all the battery and wires hide right inside. I can pop the whole unit out when travelling or for safe storage.

I just got the Scotty mounting arm and it looks great.. only problem is my older model Piranha Max 175 has a transducer that doesn't fit with this Scotty arm.. So I am trying to figure out what to do. The transducer head's holes are too large. The little piece that pivots at the bottom of the Scotty arm (that bolts into the bottom) has a very small hole. Should I bore out a larger hole then pickup a larger bolt, screws, washers etc? I am worried I could crack the small pivoting piece if I drill into it.

Thoughts? Thanks..

I rigged mine up with a bolt and a few washers. Keeps level enough. No issues so far.

When I hit shallow water or anything I just loosen the arm, point the ducer at 12 o clock and it sits up fine.

That is a ducer for a Garmin striker 7 cv.
