Good luck to all those turkey hunters "lucky" enough to still have a tag to fill (and their Township permits Sunday hunting). Having a tag myself, that is the spin I'm putting on my season and the reason for one more ridiculously early start!!!

Hang in there and give it one last chance. I remember my first year Turkey hunting. I shot a Turkey opening day, in the first half hour. I thought ,there is nothing to this. So I bought a second tag......long story short, I hunted hard all that season and did eventually fill the tag. On the second last day! It can happen at any time. Good luck and enjoy.

Tried the 11th hour hunt this morning, 3rd time out for me this year. Got him running and gunning, first time that’s worked for me. 10” beard and 1” spur! Not too bad for last chance. Turkey dinner tonight! Hope others are as lucky as I was today!

I called a nice tom in for my friends 12 year old son on Thursday morning. I don’t have a picture but he had 1.25 inch spurs. Hope everyone else has the same luck.
