Hi all,
Heading to Rockwood conservation park to do some bass fishing for a couple of hours this Saturday. Welcome anyone that may want to get out in the area. Hope to launch around 7:30am or so.
It's a small area and tossing Senko's under the trees has produced for me in the past. Just heading out for a couple of hours.
By the way, my last trip on Simcoe was awesome. Caught 4 Lm's, 2 of them were really nice. It was HOT. sitting around 100 degrees when I got off the water at noon.
Happy paddling
David

Good morning,
just a short report. Got to Rockwood park at 7 am. NO one to be seen and had the water to myself for a little bit. Fishing was slow. Caught one decent Lm and a couple of small ones. I noticed the water getting a little crowded around 10:00. I decided that I should head home. Got off the water at 10:45. Wow talk about crowded. The lot where I parked was full and a number of cars waiting to get spots. As I headed out of the park, there was a line up of cars from the gate of the park to Hwy. 7 and then along Hwy7 for another block at least.
WOW. what happened to social distancing? I don't know if all of those in line were let into the park but if so, I am glad I was in early and out early.
Stay safe all.
David
