Wild Grape Jelly

Well took the quad to the farm I hunt and picked 3 grocery bags of grapes. So after many hours of picking the grapes off the vine, here is what I have to make my grape jelly.

Then the wife got here hand press out and we juiced the grapes, ended with just over 8 cups of juice, so tomorrow I will have enough to make 2 batches of jelly. Will update with final product tomorrow.

here's the final picture, I know it pretty simple pic. I ended with 1st batch 9.5 jars and 2nd batch with 8.5 jars. Always amazes me that never get the same number of jars, from the same recipe. Start to finish about 9 hours, not including the picking of the grapes. But it is worth it as the jam is great and the farmer that lets me hunt his property loves it.

I had no idea the wild grapes were edible..
Although I have seen birds eating them..
