Got out with a buddy on Sunday March 21, 2021 for the first official outing this year. It started coldish but did not take me long to land my first pike (Less than 10 casts).
No wind and ventured out of the harbor onto the big lake. Was nice to be on the water and so cool too see the bottom crystal clear in 25+ft. Like buddy said it was like an aquarium.
p.s I do have a dry suit on, just a sweat shirt on top.

I put it in the bed of the pickup with a bed extender for regular trips.
I do have a trailer also for Cottage Trips / Trips where I need the pickup bed for storage.
I have a scupper cart. Turn it on its side and put the cart in and wheel it around. I have portaged it before using the cart as long as the terrain is not to bad.

Roughly, how much would such a set up cost? (the yak components, not including the fishing-related components, because that can be almost as high as the sky depending on what you "need"). Oh and very nice fish of course!
