Fry Group: Members Posts: 32 Member No.: 12323 Joined: September 12, 2016	Im planning on heading up to Matheson for Christmas and was wondering if anyone has been out and fishing. Traveling 8 hours so cannot check myself. Thanks for any info

Fry Group: Members Posts: 32 Member No.: 12323 Joined: September 12, 2016	Went up for Christmas, average ice on the river was 8.5" and some people were pulling their permeant huts out. One of the back lakes I went too I was standing on 9" and there was a lot of water on top of the ice since it rained but the ice was solid black ice.

Only managed to fish the one day so I wont complain. Ill be back up in that area end of January and planning on going for stocked trout and bass.
