A little slower today but managed 2 in the afternoon. I like to start around noon. Worm tipped spoon. Haven’t got a single fish on a set line, all on spoons so far this season jigging.

I’ve found rainbow fishing the same, if you aren’t early you might as well wait till afternoon. Around noon is perfect to set up so you are ready for the evening bite, this time of year it’s already getting darker under the ice at 1-2 so good timing I think. If it’s dark by 4 the evening starts around 1:30!
