Headed out to lake x and had a fairly good day ice was 4” black and 2 white. Just quit smoking so I did not even set up my tent stayed on the move spudding hole after hole all day lmao. Managed 4 pike and a nice walleye. Not great but not bad either lol better than sitting at home wishing I was smoking lol all fish lived to swim another day.

Good on you for getting out fishing . Distraction is the key to quitting smoking I quit ten years ago and am loving it.

Nice report and pics...
When I quit smoking I was told to get a bunch of suckers, when I got the itch for a smoke I reached for a sucker, it worked...

Beauty fish ! & great choice to quit.

I quit about 15 yrs ago.

Stupid me,,,, 15 yrs later & started again,, just like I never quit to begin with
One cigarette on vacation last year & found myself buying a pack that same night !

Now while kicking myself,,, Im quitting again for good, no matter what this time.

Black Halls, Black Licorice candy,,, chew on coffee beans.
Anything that will eventually "trick" the mind to crave something else was what worked for me the first time around.

Good Luck & Tight Lines !

Well done I quit years ago but still have temptations, especially when someone smokes near me.

Nice outing! Looked like a nice day out there as well.
Keep up the fight on the smoking too. I quit 30 years ago with the main driver being that I wasn't going to pay 20 bucks for a carton. I still like the smell though if I am around someone smoking. Crazy after 30 years.
