Small lakes should be good was fishing in Minden the other day but big lakes some are still open water check with spud before you good luck.

Not a lot of ice (if any)on some muskoka area lakes last time I checked. It doesnt hurt to phone local bait and tackle stores, sometimes they can help. Good luck if you get out!

Drove through the area the other day. Not much snow, but also not much ice. Most water bodies were open, some smaller ones iced up but I didn't see anyone on them.
