Headed out to a special lake for some special trout lol. Man, the 5 minute walk was worth it!
Holes drilled by 8am, I managed five fish through the hole by 10am lost a couple poor hook set. Caught mostly on BadBoyz. 55fow. Some caught on large Williams Whitefish gold. Tried for whities and struck laker gold! Called it a day now I’m back home sippin beers.

This one spit up an 8” herring. Had 8” solid black ice and nearly 1-2ft snow. Beautiful day today no huts required, that’s not how I was raised lol

LOL Nice fish but that's a lot of effort to hide where you fishing, most lakes look the same in pictures.

Thanks! Trust me, it is worth the 10 seconds on my iPhone with markup to hide the spot.

You missed the tips of the white pines in one pic lol. Try not mentioning other species though as a lot of laker spots don’t have those! That helps some of us make a decent educated guess on location!

Way to go, the first pic, laker looks darker than most - more black to it

Must be very desperate if your zooming the picture that much to try to figure out where he was.
Good job Mykola

Lots of lurkers out here trying to figure out spots

I’m sure you’re getting a lot of DMs asking where you were.

Ask me.
I know exactly where he was
I sent him there

Went back this morning, walked out at 8am, iced 6 Lakers, kept two, back to the car for 10am.... efficiency at its best. Best was 2lbs today. Lost one VERY big fish, two big runs and I couldn’t lift it, it rolled and spit the hook.
