OldTown Sportsman Pdl, 106 vs 120

I’m looking for input for those who have or have had experience with the sportsman 106 pdl from OldTown
How does it handle wind/ waves on bigger lakes?
With it being a 10’6” kayak is it more awkward car topping than say a 12’?

What makes you think 10’6” would be awkward for car topping? I would be guessing it would be easier than 12.

I have the topwater pdl 106 and Im presuming its pretty similar to the Sportsman. I dont have a trailer and usually mount it on my SUV and have no issues thus far. Personally I feel that the 106 is a bit more stable than the 120 whereas the 120 is a bit more sleek in the front and has about a foot or 2 room space at the back.

I've heard the argument that a longer boat is easier for putting on a car, due to better leverage.
