No fish from 4pm until 10pm not unless you count small bass. After that 14 walleye. They were all keepers 15.16.17. Inches but they were too thin so I put them back to catch them next year. Here are some examples.

Walleye and crappie are schooling fish, so are most of the fish in the kawarthas... I will just say, If you happen to get lucky in one spot or in a boat, stay put. I see boats all the time drifting around and they catch a fish and keep moving. There is more fish there, almost always. For walleye that are in a school, they will be close in size, within inches. If you catch 9 inch walleye, there is probably 20 in the school. if you catch a 15 inch walleye, there is probably 10 in the school. A 20 inch walleye would equal 5 in the school. And monster walleye, there might be only 2 or three in the same area. This also applies to crappie as well, except in the spring when you may have 2 or 3 schools of fish mixed together. Also the size of the schools will be bigger with crappie. One more thing, when I say school these fish travel together. But the bigger they are the more spread out they will be.

Oh ya had a blast. Got very lucky to find those fish. Actually could not keep any because I had my limit of three in the freezer. we are eating all the walleye today for dinner. Now I can catch my limit tonight....IF I GET LUCKY AGAIN....Hopefully.

Bass love to hang out together especially in the fall. Big ones and small ones all together like little families.
