The crappie from my last post went in the freezer. The walleye went to a great fish fry BBQ for the family. When I get here the first thing I hear is when you going fishing...LOL. So last night started off with bass. Went to a place I only fish in oct or nov. Never been there this early in the fall. Was not sure what to expect. Caught a few no monsters but the family is having fish again tonight. We have two birthdays every labourday weekend. And they wanted to eat fish. An hour before dark went to where I catch crappie and walleye again. Not one crappie all night. Fished from 7pm to 5am. But the walleye were everywhere big ones small ones. 16 in total. Walleye started hitting at 9pm and caught last one 4am then nothing for an hour so went home to sleep. Here is two pictures.

Thank you. Just got back from fishing last night. Stopped at 4am. No crappie again just small bass many rock bass and a few more walleye. Only six this time half small half big...biggest 23 inches. We have 4 at home so I could not keep anyway. Going to bed now. Back to school for all the students. Stay safe. Thank you for fixing my pictures.

Nice fish CM looks like you haven’t lost your touch. Was a little rough on Balsam on the weekend managed 2 walleye and a small small mouth. Should get good soon as the temps are falling went from 27 to 21 in just over 2 weeks

Yes next week it's about 21 everyday and 13 every night. Best fishing weather is on the way. Not many bugs and cooler on average. I am trying to get over to balsam as soon as I can. I was going to try tonight with that south east wind but it changed to south west and there is lightning all over. Good luck on your next balsam fishing. Stay safe.

Wow, very impressive! Happy for you to finally be able to get outdoors and fishing! it looks like the fish have missed you too! Amazing hauls over the few fishing nights for you!
Good to know that your wife is doing better
Also love fall fishing - not too hot and less recreational boats on the water.
Was not able to go camping over the weekend, as daughter got sick with a cold and I had my old back issue requiring some rehab time, but soon I should be able to get to the water.

Right on...Family first and your health first. You can always fish tomorrow or the next. I hope you both feel better soon. And that was very lucky to have four nights in a row of great fishing, almost no bugs and almost perfect weather with a few down pours. I say extremely lucky. Can't wait for next adventure. Fish or no fish who cares. Good luck stay safe JB.
