Also love the Yamamoto Yamaminnows in 2" size. Awesome bait scented and salted as well. My favourite for crappie, especially in glow luminous white color.
Too bad they are discontinued (if I am not mistaken, as they are not on Yamamoto's website anymore) as my supplies of them are running low.

Yes they stopped making crappie baits a couple of years ago. I called when they stopped and they would do a special run of a certain bait but you had to order a hundred bags. I just got off the phone today and they do not do that anymore. I bought enough to last me a few years. You can get close clone baits to yamamoto. A few companies have copied yamamoto products. They are almost as good. I cut up some of my big worms in half into walleye baits with threaded tails etc. These are my favourite for walleye and crappie. If I am using soft baits in the spring and summer.

cple mornings went out to jig walleye, got 3 bass each time and baby walleye, some weeds are dying off, that was pigeon, mon morn started in sturgeon ,got baby musky no bass, load up kayaks to pigeon got 21 smallies ,nothing big but fun, will fish some evenings next cple weeks with minnow baitsfor walleye, and whatever else bites.
