It was a shock of weather change. Down to four degrees and windy with rain. Not many fish as well caught 5 walleye. Kept one 17 inches the others were around 15 inches. Here is the 17. Silver crank bait for all very slow retreive. Fish were in 8 feet of water.

If you were out in last night's weather, that's super hardcore! The rain was blowing sideways last night.
Yes last night was like the final scene of the Cape Fear movie. So windy and bad rain...I stayed back six feet from the edges because the wind was moving me.

You are a real hardcore angler, CM, that's for sure!
I would guess that walleyes were less active last night is because they were feeding throughout the day in the rainy and windy weather.
Agreed the walleye were feeding all day. It was a perfect day to be on the water. I wanted to go out yesterday but my friends said it was too cold for them. I just do not know about these kids these days. LOL. I am 57 they are in their 40s so I call them kids. Today should be good as well.

Happen to know what the water temps are?
Nope not a clue...cold but not as cold as it should be this time of year if that helps. Its October fest....I mean October fish....the fish are hungry but they are biting slow now. The only hard hits I had so far this week was when I was catching walleye in the river. That is where I am right now but tonight they are not cooperating yet just a few small walleye so far.
