You can try True Canadian Outdoors for minnows. They usually open early and are located at hwy 400 and Rutherford. Minnows were a little pricey last time I picked some up from there.

Nice haul Disco….minnows can be a pain when it’s cold and windy fishing from a boat. But, I usually have great success. My buddy I go with usually puts on plastics and does just as well, especially when they are aggressive.

I agree minnows do lead to lots of fish.
As you said your buddy does just as well with plastic.

In my experience you can save the hassle and expenditure of buying and using minnows and usually I find the plastics you can avoid the dinks.

Just my experience of course. I have had the odd day where it’s tough but I think that happens once or twice a year at most.

Winds are getting worse for tomorrow but we’ll see how it goes! Probly stick close to the Keswick side of the bay

Winds are straight out of the east and pretty strong.
You might do better going to the east side of the lake and sticking to the east side of Georgina Island.
Either way hide from that wind and bring heavy drop shots to help you get down.

Thanks, we gave it a go today. Lots of sorting couldn’t get on solid school of nice fish. Better than working! Not sure where we’re going to try tomorrow, weather looks rough
