Took a rare opportunity to fish with Crappeeeman and had a blast! Both walleye were too small to keep, one just an inch shy.

Between them decided to cast a heavier deeper running crankbait and after few casts thought I had a snag. But soon was happy that I can move it. Again a bit later I felt it was not just moving to me. CM said it must be a nice walleye. I thought if it was a walleye it must be a world record. It took time to finally bring it to the surface where she became acrobatic. Not sure why but I wanted to release asap and we forgot to measure. Later we estimated 45". Did not know my eyes can still look like that.

Wow that picture turned out great. That is the biggest muskie I have seen this year. I was hoping it was going to be a 3 foot walleye but I am happy you caught such a monster. I am going back out to balsam now. Different spot from last night lots of wind break where I am going. I need to catch some big walleye. Congratulations on your new PB monster muskie. Especially catching the fish at night good job. Glad we were there to see it.

Wow, excellent trophy musky! Congrats with your new PB!
I agree, it looks around 45". Solid healthy fish.
This fish alone is worth braving the cold night.
Glad you had a great time.
