You may have noticed from my earlier post that this here square dance caller and his fiddling wife were organizing a fiddle jam/dance square dance on National and World Fiddle Day, May 20th and it was a fundraiser for COPE.
Well, what a day, we filled the Eady Hall in Oro-Medonte Twp. to capacity and then some!
People came and brought lots of money as you can see.
COPE brought 6 dogs and CTV Barrie came and covered the event. If you saw the CTV Barrie news on Saturday May 20th, at either 6pm or 11pm, you would have seen the action and yours truly being interviewed. I was also interviewed on the Wednesday when we did a promo for Fiddle Day at a square dance in Bracebridge.
You probably aren't interested in a picture of the dancing, but the following is when we had 5 of the Labrador Retrievers on parade on the dance floor and their handlers were attempting to teach them the "COPE Dogs Jig" or something like that.
