Went out 6 am this morning , out to 80. feet of water picked up a nice laker 1st hour, then washed lures for the next 4 hours..
Marking fish everywhere. Dancing up and down around the rigger weights but no strikes most markings were between 75 to 90 Feet. Suspended between 50-70 feet.

I have seen that type of screen many times, too many to count

couple of obsevations I really don't see any rocketing up to the cannonballs and or following so in fact thes might well be just hooks of fairly inactive fish

If I do see fish rocket up to cannonballs, I will shorten my leads very quickly right up to 5 feet if it works

gl next time

It is interesting on what you said I did shorten the leads out to the lure but only down to 30 feet. Next time I will try down to 5 feet see if it will trigger a strike
