Went out on one of my favourite Kawartha Lakes this past week. Had an awesome time! Of recent, I have obtained at inflateable Raft/Boat with a 5hp motor. Having a ton of fun on the lakes. From Monday - Wednesday this week I enjoyed what the Kawarthas had to offer. Ended up with a great amount of smallmouth bass. The whole trip that was the fish I was mostly targeting. I was fishing rocky shorelines. The GF was with me too. She was casting a larger bait. She ended up with a good few Smallies too! Awesome fun. She also had a Muskie and LARGE walleye follow. Both times I almost fell of the boat when I saw these massive fish mouth at her bait. But, no luck! Both the large walleye and Muskie practically kissed the back of her lure and off they went. On the final day though, we had the best fishing. Lots and lots of bass. And a Giant to boot. The biggest by far I have ever caught in the kawarthas. Overall lots of fun on the new boat. Can't wait for the next trip in a few days. No vid this time. But wanted to contribute some fishing stories as I have been really enjoying reading the posts the last weeks. Bass on Ned Rigs and Whistler Jigs! Pics to come.

Glad to see you back with some great pictures. Looking forward to more videos from the new boat. I just posted on another thread that the walleye fishing should be excellent this weekend, starting today. Hopefully no thunder storms for safety reasons. Good luck to you and your girlfriend next time you are out. Amazing that small fish grow to big fish when you see some of the scars they have from previous encounters. Thank you for the report. Stay safe.

And that's so true. Always amazing to see fish grow into there scars!
