fished rice saturday and sunday . saturday was good managed a dozen found a weed edge that i pulled 6 nice smallies out of all within a 10 foot area 4 of them were in the 4.25 lb range 2 others about 3lbs but sunday was the best morning rain and flat water got the frogs out the best was just shy of 6 and few others 4-5lbs got 7 altogether smallest was 2lbs to end the day as the sun came out. the last 3 weeks have been on fire for myself i hope everyone is able to get out and have some fun while the fishing is good.

Wow impressive bucketmouths! Well done...

I haven't caught a largie pushing 5 lbs on Rice Lake in a very long time..

Also interesting the big smallies were packed in such a small area.

So many km of empty water and in a 10 ft area all piled in..

If it's not a secret what did you get the smallies on?

The frogs were working in the morning after about 1100 i switched to a green senko i have had a great last 4 weekends with large fish staying away from shoreline has worked instead of going right into the overhanging trees
