If it is a world tournament, how come the teams are only invited from America. How come they don't invite us from Ontario. Everyone knows the best crappie anglers In The WORLD are from right here in Ontario. It is much harder to catch crappie up in the great white north...."The smartest and most illusive freshwater fish.".... We only have from ice out in April until November to catch crappie on the soft water. Down there in the warm climate, they can fish for crappie in their boats all year round. You put the best crappie angler from America in the same boat as the best crappie angler in Canada. Take them to a lake with crappie where neither of them has fished ever before in Ontario. Send them out for 24 hours. The Canadian comes back with more and bigger crappie 8 times out of 10.

Good one. You got my vote....haha.
Yes, they are elusive.
On a bay near Honey Harbour, which 'they' claim is 'full of Crappie", I caught my first one last week... after 2 yrs fishing for Pike and Bass. Guess the little guy was confused....lol.
Crappeeeman, I enjoy your Crappie posts, keep them coming OK?
