I saw a new one today on the way home from getting fruits and this story has a beamer in it. I'm driving on a straight stretch of road there this beamer coming towards me half in my lane with no one in front of him he is trying to pass. I have to come to a compete stop on the road with my horn going, the guy manages to pull back into his lane. A pickup truck behind him throws up his hands like what an idiot he is. the pickup probably wanted to pass him from way back but couldn't. Figure where he comes from the rule must be you drive with the yellow line in the middle of your car

I dont what it is about boat ramps that make people forget about common courtesy.Ive seen people not able to back a boatin, try to launch it while its still tied down and the old classic…. launch without the plug in. Ive backed peoples boats in after watching them struggle for 10 minutes and they were super appreciative. Its the ones that wont accept help or advice that are the problem. For some odd reason I find boat ramps very entertaining… guess Im a sucker for punishment!

Boat ramps are a riot and make me laugh,,,,,,
when you go bring your patience meter with you otherwise you will just get upset...
was out the otherday and 4 guys took forever to get the rig in the water and then......it would not start......took them over 15 minutes to check batteries...guess what....there were none
unbelievable that folks do not check out stuff at home

LS, now that is too funny. Wonder what else they didn't have like safety gear. I pulled up to ramp other day coming from the water. Coupe boats on trailers waiting to come in so figured I'd have to wait, but they were just chatting at the back of the 1st boat. So I figured I'd pull into the dock. I called over to the guys and said I'd be quick, they said no problem. Well I quickly pulled jeep ahead and backed into ramp. One guy now on dock, says wish I could back up that fast. Any way I pretty much run to get out of the way and pull up well out of the way to pack up. Boy am I glad I got out first. The guy on the dock should have wished he could backup let alone fast. He had a big boat and must have tried 20 times in and out before he managed to launch that big boat and even they it was almost sided ways.

Few years back we were at a lunch in the kawartas buddy pulls up with a hod rod truck with ballon tiers pulls in and forgets the tie downs. Trailer floats he does not realize keeps backing in until his ballon tiers float. Well his hot rod truck was a rear weal drive in five minutes trailer boat and truck were floating in the water.

I live 5 minutes from Promenade Park and refuse to go there anymore. The arguing between the fishermen and the Jet Skiers is not for me. The jet skiers think they have more rights because its a small boats as far as I can gather. Nobody has patients any more and want service immediately.
