Went out for a couple hours this morning before getting things done in the afternoon. Managed a few but these were the bigger ones of the day. Both were caught on a deep diving perch crankbait.

Excellent. Some nice looking fish. Gotta love the crank baits. Looks like a nice 18.5 inch keeper walleye. Was the water clear on the lake you were at, or was it stained.

I was on Sturgeon Lake, the water was pretty clear all over, well at least the spots I tried.

A few days ago where I was catching fish on Sturgeon the water was stained. Run off from the creek and it was night with no moon so visibility was not good. I just slowed down my retrieve quite a bit so the fish would have more time to react. Thank you for the reply. Good to know it was mostly clear out there.

That's pretty much how I got those two fish, slow, steady retrieve.
