Almost no wind, just a slight breeze from the north. Temperature got down to 9 degrees so only a couple of mosquitoes out last night. Fishing was good, not great just good. Who cares because it was so beautiful with the full moon out. The beavers swimming around, you can see the gentle wake they leave behind them as they cruise back and forth. I should really give them names seeing them so often. The crank baits were left in the bucket last night. Just wanted to watch the bobber and glow stick glimmer on the surface of the water. It's amazing when it is so quiet and you can just doze off because the water is so peaceful. Then the green light vanishes in a millisecond with a faint ripple on the water. Set the hook, fish on. A quick rush of adrenaline, reel the fish in then let it go. LOL. That's what last night was all about, catch and release. Lots of fish but no size to them. It was a great night to relax and catch some fish. Biggest crappies were 10 inches. Smallest crappie was about 6 inches. A couple bluegill and walleye, and no bass this time. Wish I could have stayed but only had a small amount of time. Here is a couple pictures.

Glad to know you had a good time there.
I fished a northern lake on Sat afternoon. Still some boat traffic after the rain, but it was ok in a couple of bays. Caught about a dozen of crappie, almost all around 9". Released all. Kept few bass. Caught many nice bluegills and pumpkins that had no problems to bite 2" tubes.
