Greetings from Flagstaff, Arizona.

Saw the Grand Canyon today. Unbelievable!

After all the hot weather we have had in the last week, I look forward to getting on the ice in January--either Simcoe or Rosseau.

Yes Mydog, I will bring smoked trout.

Back home next week and looking forward to some rainbow fishing on Georgian Bay

I relly don't care where the event takes place............it's about the people that really matters in the end.

As for the streudel, yep that's good enough but I will be focusing on those sausages and all else as well

Anyhow, no reason why we cannot have 2 as BWB suggested..all depends on ice conditions in the end.

Hey SD, I used to have an office over in Scottsdale by the airport. If you have a chance try Pinnacle Petes. Great eats. That is where I first tried fried rattlesnake.

Hey Bob, if it winds up to be on Simcoe, I will give a hand organizing since I would have to come up for a couple of days anyhow.

QUOTE (backwoodsmanbob @ November 03, 2012 - 12:58 pm)
Thanks Shank, I am in the same boat now living out here.

I know, we talked about 2 day ventures for Simcoe, so we are in the same boat so to speak.

Hey Mr B. you don't need a lot of gear as long as you can stay comfortable thats all that matters. The members can provide lots of knowledge and support and are always ready to welcome a new member. Looking forward to meeting you on the ice one day.
