Nobody really talks much about it...my vote goes to Rice lake.
More deeper structure and greater amount of forage. You just have to figure out the patterns there....it's a different fishery than most Kawartha Lakes.
Reports of big pike have been coming out of there for years now, and given its proximity to the Bay of Quinte...well, it gets my vote.

last weekend managed 6 pike on rice in the river one hit the rock bass i was reeling in played it for about 5 mins when i saw it she was a big one wasnt going to fit my net then it let go would have made some some fillets from that one. no stopping them in rice now so may as well make a meal of them
