I would like to rent a day hut on nippising to target perch with my daughter. Does anyone have any experience with this ? I would prefer to stay away from the major hut cities of possible.

Thanks everyone, this board and its members have alwayes been good to me and I have learned a fair bit.

Thank you Sandybay. I called and they were very friendly and accomidating. It sounds like its a late start for the opporators this year. I hope that it gets colder soon!

Well I got out on the ice last sunday with my daughter and father. The opporator was accomidating, friendly and punctual and we had a good day on the ice!

It was my daughters first ice outing and she learned quickly to be cautious in the shack...after submerging her boot in the hole. We got her warm and comfy and preceeded to fish and play card games, colour and fave fun.

We caught a few 12-13 inch walleye,a cisco and some perch. All walleye were released and the smaller jumbos.

Thank you for the recomendation sandybay.

Happy to see you had fun at Nip.

Very nice to see you are introducing the next generation to Ice fishing. It is important and
I am sure you are teaching the do's and don't .

Many no so respectable people out there these days.

Those are good numbers for a day with family on the hard water.

Cheers!!
