This will only be my third year ever ice fishing but I think I'm getting the hang of it now.
Saturday was absolutely insane, I didn't go quiet as far as I usually would because of a pressure crack I wasn't sure about and lots of slush. Set up by 12 (early for me) and stayed until 4:30 (wife calling me home) and I swear it was non stop fish all day.
Everything from Walley, Pike, Perch and those cisco punks.
My problem is I can't or don't know how to land tanks.
I had two monster Walley close to a PB I would say that I got to the hole but I get nervous having to stick my hand down were the hook is to grab em so they did shake off.
After the first I was p##### I didn't land it and get a pic and then boom another tank and I pull the same $*&%* again. Wuss out you you lose it.
90% of the fish were on the magic black tingle spoon with just a minnow head and it was a super light bite you had to feel to make it work.
Only 11ft and the first time back in my usually place this year.
Until next weekend!
