I went to Penetang a few times as a teenager with my family, brought the sleds up there used to love riding around.

20 years ago now.

Wondering how the ice there holds up compared to decades ago (depends on the year I am sure).

Was thinking of heading up there this year instead of Simcoe (or both) - just wondering if anyone know operators up there or at least a place for minnows.

Thinking of renting and air bnb on the water for easy sled access to the lake.

From what I recall there are perch and walleye there - other stuff too. Any insight is appreciated as usual.
