What magical area were you fishing?!? Because we found Saturday to be one of the slowest days we’ve ever had up there! And we talked to a few other groups who said the same thing. We didn’t even have a flag pop on our tip-ups and they usually save us on the slow days.

I fish the North shore right down the street from home, it's close and there is never anyone around on this side for the most part. Nice quiet and all alone is what I prefer but it is a good walk to get out.

As for slush there was only one really bad spot to deal with that was over your ankle deep and with the snow it makes pulling the sled a mission.

By the end of the season I should be ripped or not as fat

I’d agree Saturday was slow but Sunday was not.

Action packed afternoon - those herring are perfect pike bait.
