Hi all! I hope you guys have enjoyed this nice weather we have been having of recent. Thankfully most lakes are iced enough now that this weather is a treat more then a nightmare. In todays upload, I am back out on Nip. Fishing a new spot I have found and been enjoying fishing. It is a area that comes up to 23 where as the surrounding area is 28. During this video I get on a great bite and catch a TON of eyes. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you all for the support!

Side Note*

My Lowrace Elite Chip 4 is having issues with "Ping Speed", the sonar itself makes a consistent ticking sound when it reads back to me. I have it set to "fastest". Forever, the ticking sound was consitant and I got a very clear read of my jig and fish.

Now. The ticking is all broken up. It may tick 10 times, then lag and not tick for a few seconds. Then come back to life. It creates a very laggy and delayed view. This transducer is old, but so is the unit. Should I try to get a new transducer and see? Or is there a fix I could try? Thank you for the help.

That was tremendous fishing. Love how you literally put one down the hole and hooked up at the same time. Keep up the good work that was fun.

Check for loose connector at the back. Sometimes mine is loose, although I’m different brand graph, but be used a toothpick wedge in there to keep it tight. Or find someone with the same ‘ducer and see if it works.

Looks like you had a fun time fishing as always. If it turns out you need a new unit because you can't fix the problem, wait. The end of winter sales are probably just around the corner.

I’m not familiar with lowrance units but I had a similar issue with a humminbird helix , it would lag every so often on “clear mode” , put it on max mode and no more issues. Not sure if there’s a similar setting on lowrance.

Thank you CM, Jason, Scot and Atillikus. Was a ton of fun out there. Wow was the bite ever hot that day. Surprisingly, Went out the next weekend and caught only 1 eye in 10.5 hours. Doing the exact same thing! We may be approaching the mid ice low point fishing wise on the lake. Hoping it picks back up again. Marked a bunch of fish too but they never wanted to commit. Surprisingly too, the one eye I did end up catching was on a small panfish tungsten. Very finicky bite.

And Mykola and Bassmater thank you for those tips going to try both when I'm back out there. Checked on the rear connection and all seems to be snug. But disconnected it and then re connected it just to see if that maybe re sets the issue? Who knows! I will check the settings as well Bassmater for those modes with the lowrace. It's amazing how you can fine tune those machines!

Thank you all again for the kind words and help with the fish finder!
