Coming up this weekend

Coming up with the wife for the first time to Nipissing, this weekend just like some info on the ice situation is it safe to run around the lake. Is there enough significant ice to do so will always use caution just asking for any spots I should avoid. Thanks in advance for any input.

Didn’t get out yet to see what last nights temps did to things but it was looking pretty nasty yesterday…

In regards to running around the lake I don’t think you’d want to consider it being all equal ice and you want local confirmation first wherever you plan to go. I hear a Sherpa found 2” somewhere but where I don’t know….
