wow! That beats my lifetime record. I havre ionly caught the odd one while fishing for lakers. I'm curious about that northland jig. I googled it and all I saw was the single hook version. You must be talking about a different sort of lure.

I use the northland buckshot lures.. make sure they glow. A few led lights will ensure that.. flashlight from a samsung phone can give it a good charge. I use a motomaster led light that seems to be on the right light spectrum to ensure a good 20+ mmins. I live close to rosseau so I can go right at sundown and catch whatever I want to eat. Ez pz.. even use the simcoe bug weight that glows with a simple hook and whatever piece of dead minnow I had.. works well.. their mouths just clamp down
Oh and you don't need to jig.. just dead stick your 2 rods.. they'll go for it. I use the single hook for easy removal (you will get a lot of small ones) this summer I'll be posting the world record when i can get out to 200ish fow.. hahaha dreams are real..
