Looking for any info on conditions west of Tobin Island. Can’t get ahold of Prime Time so I assume they’re not operating, which doesn’t surprise me. I know Joseph has open water still. Wondering if anyone has been out from minnet or that area. Thanks. I don’t need to walk too far. Just curious.

The last sat pic I saw had open water in the N end of Ross as well as Joe. M Kerwin was fishing S of Windermere on Sat. He just might know something about it. Some sun in the forecast for tomorrow. Maybe we'll get a sat pic.

I was texting with Jason from prime time the other day. He's away right now. He said it should be good for walking by Friday. This was before they got hammered with 20 cm of sno yesterday so who knows. Temps have been good for making ice since we spoke. Ill punch a hole in our bay this evening which should give me an indicator on the conditions of my laker grounds which is only a short walk. Im hoping for 10" so I can bring the sled out. Sure beats walking with all the gear. Looks like some wind so I'll be bringing the portable

500m south of Windemere had 7" perfect black ice. Covered by about 10cm of snow. We got hammered today with snow so the ice should hold.. saw some people fishing south end of Tobin island on Saturday. Not sure about west side. Probably not nearly as good or safe at all.
