Got out for a couple hours chasing brookies no big ones to be found but sure did have 3 small guys that were hungry here is a video of one of them.

You got that right you can see how he only put a part of the minnow in his mouth and how they react to jigging the minnow

interesting for sure.......so many swipes and pickups....



also notice how often the chase the weight. do you ever try something up higher like a fly or a small tube?

I never have added anything but I’m sure i change the weight to a small jig i would catch them with it.
The fish in this lake are 12-13 inches so i was happy that he did not get hooked i will wait another year and go back to them again.
