Took today off from work, and ice fished MY lake in Muskoka. Landed one laker, and lost another laker at hole. Was hoping to fish until late in the afternoon/dusk, and see if I can land a whitefish or two:) but by 1PM rain started so I immediately called it a day, and packed up...
Of the whole time I was fishing on the lake (from 8:00AM to 1:00PM), I was the only one on the lake. Didn't see anyone in all directions and as far out as I could see:-)

Great Laker! Glad you made it out before the rainfall. Not sure about Muskoka, but in North Bay we had an crazy thunderstorm last most of the afternoon. Quite fascinating to see this weather in February, but disappointing as well. First time for me ever seeing a winter thunderstorm. Hoping the quick freeze we are having TMR locks everything back up decently before more warm weather comes.

Nice going. I wanted to mess up that lake all to yourself but Tuesdays are bad for me. The ice is holding up relatively well and tomorrow, whatever water is left on top will just add a bit more to the lake. May even get to see you out there Saturday.
