Whitefish Closer Fishing

What a year its been, we were able to not only get out on the boat for opener but also had the opportunity to fish off the boat for closer. Enjoy!

Very nice sunrise at the beginning of the video and some nice fish caught on the whitefish closer. Also watched your Lake Simcoe Whitefish Opener 2024. Did they change the whitefish limit on Lake Simcoe? Is the whitefish limit still two for a sportsman fishing license?

Yes the limit is still 2. The video I just posted was from 3 back to back to back trips and we kept 6 total, 2 of which were the ones my neighbour in the video caught(his first ever whities) and 4 of the ones i caught over the span of 3 days, one of which we actually kept for the smoker, with the rest going to friends/family. The sunrise was indeed crazy, it was on Thursday, it looked even more insane when the rays were bouncing off of the skim ice, unfortunately I didnt take a clip of that!

Regarding the opener video, the clips are again compiled from a couple days, the last clip showing me hold up 5 fish are not any the fish shown in the video. It was a clip taken from a completely different day with 2 of the fish being mine and 3 being fish caught by two of my friends who were on the boat with me, I just thought it would be a cool clip if I took a video with all of them so I decided to include it in the YouTube video.

The limit is 2 and the possession is 2

They have not won the Cup since I was 3 years old. "1967." As long as they try their hardest as they do, I can wait. Just hope they win again before "2067." By then I will be 103 years old.

I think we stand a better chance of winning the lottery than the leafs winning the cup. After this many years I fail to understand why there are still fans willing to pay ridiculous prices for tickets. Like hitting your thumb over and over black and blue and failing to understand why.
