Skunk city today. Man was it windy. Forecast said 6kmh winds, well it was 16kms by noon!
Had one follow a perch Husky jerk to the boat, looked up at me and said not today laddy, turned and swam away.

Pick you up in Rosedale CM?

So you think up the mouth of the Gull river towards Coby
would be better than down at the bottom of South Bay?

Sorry I was on the road yesterday and did not see your post. Fished most of the afternoon and night last night got a bit of sleep and fished more today. Gull river is good. I never fish the south bay. The north end and back down south to Daniels point. Never even seen the west side of Balsam. LOL.

I’m just the opposite, spent 40 years in West Bay never needed to venture to the east side but figured it was time.
Was talking to an older gentleman when I was loading the boat out, his son and two buddies got 11 pike and a large walleye on the weekend. He said they were all over the lake.

East, west, north, and south. Guess we both love Balsam.
