Join me on an exciting pre-spawn perch fishing adventure on Lake Simcoe, where I take advantage of the unique opportunity to fish during a solar eclipse! As the eclipse creates a stunning celestial display overhead, I navigate the waters, casting my line in search of these prized gamefish. Watch as I share tips and techniques for targeting perch during this critical pre-spawn period.

That bait you were showing at the 5:30 mark on the video would be a great crappie bait. For me the best part of the video is how you set the hook on a fish. So many people try and rip the face right off the fish. A proper hook set should have just a bit of drag clicking at the end. Too many people out there injuring small, medium, and large fish. You set the hook right, good job. Also having fishing tips up on the screen was cool. I don't target perch, but they go after my crappie, walleye and bass baits sometimes. Stay safe out there.

You are not very good at catching perch. Maybe you could try a little harder next time.....................................................You walked right into that all by yourself. LOL.

I was more so referring to the video production crappeeeman but i did have a feeling that statement might be interpreted in that way, i was being way too vague hahaha
