Great catch and nice spring splake and laker.
I also vote it's a Laker, it's tail is very forked compared to the 'true' splakes you have pictured (less forking in the tail).
But like Disco said, the only true ID would be to count the intestine finger projections. I have never done it, so not sure. But I assume it's those worm looking structures in the gut.
