Also I should add thanks to your fillet picture I just pulled a slab out of the freezer for the smoker tomorrow haha
thanks for the comments fellow fishers
enjoy those coho.mine rarely hit the freezer
I was in my usual haunts on the south shore and as mentioned for us it was strictly a spoon bite.........meat and flies or cranks no good.......lots of folks catching that day
today was a very tough bite.....go figure they were there but had lockjaw

That’s amazing. For the last three springs I have been trying to get my boat down there for spring kings and time leaks away. Congrats on a great outing with a good friend. The coho look delicious!

Disco........you get out enough. I'm sure you will get out soon enough for the salmon fishing
Mykola.......come on down...it's easy enough....fish hits and you hang on for your life never a need to rush a salmon in........worst is when they charge the boat and then trying to control them before you can net them Anything can happen and usually does and I believe that is why it's so addictive
for FishHunt.......you will do it when ready. still gonna be great for quite a while as water is only 47-52 on surface

Forgot to mention, I did get out yesterday and man was it ever a tough bite......lots of lookers and no serious takers
spoke with multible boats and they had the same thing. might have been the cold front and gin clear water, but it shows how fast it can change hot bite to cold bite and then a reversal again
