Splake, Afternoon trip

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1469 Member No.: 15869 Joined: April 04, 2018	I went from the cottage for a couple hours this afternoon. I loaded the canoe on the wheeler and drove close to the lake. There was a nice breeze to keep the he bugs down to a tolerable level . I trolled a lure to the far end of the lake where I had a nice solid hit in a bay. After a short fight I landed the 19 inch splake . I trolled back down the lake and when I got near the portage I hooked and landed a twin to the first trout. I tried for another half hour and decided to call it a day.
